To give this wild sound—which can only be described as a mix of jazz, punk, blues,
folk, and pop—it takes exactly seven different ingredients. And
in the form of musicians and their instruments!
It’s a frenzy, a total party, when the band takes the stage. The seven guys come across as
a tightly knit unit—indestructible yet extremely chaotic. Each
instrument brings its own unique strength to the table, propelling the whole show on
a mission of ecstasy to some distant planet! After the
concert, you’re not even sure exactly where that is anymore...
And then, all of a sudden, boom!—a fruity cacophony erupts, which
suddenly coalesces into an alliance and, bursting with power, is hurled
into the already
dropped jaws of the equally sweat-drenched audience. Spot-on, like a well-aimed golf shot into the hole. Sounds exaggerated? Maybe, but
anyone who’s experienced it knows exactly what we’re talking about!
The band manages to bring back a kind of healthy and long-missed grime to jazz music
. And the audience loves to soak it up—from the
Czech Republic through Germany all the way to Spain! Within the band and as the title for their second
album, the seven members call their sound “JUNK.” And whether you
take it in a bit at a time, devour it all at once, or throw yourself right into it is entirely up to you
