Experience MEHRKLANG’s innovative concert project *BILDER KLÄNGE GALAXIEN*, which combines the visual masterpieces of the James Webb Telescope with innovative music.
In the magical atmosphere of the planetarium, the Open_Music Ensemble—supported by the SWR’s Freiburg Experimental Studio—transforms the cosmos into a fascinating concert hall.
The journey begins at twilight, travels through the universe to distant galaxies and new nebulae, and ends on our blue planet.
Throughout the performance, the musicians accompany the spectacular telescope footage with live improvisation.
A special highlight is Karlheinz Stockhausen’s work “Gesang der Jünglinge im Feuerofen” with live electronics.
