Exhibition "Images of the future 2045 - A journey into the world of tomorrow"

Welcome to a journey into the future! Not to the dark future of an uninhabitable planet with floods, resource wars and dead soil, but to a world as it can be if we take care of it. A world that is green, full of life, fertile and progressive. From October 6 - November 28, 2025, Elektrizitätswerke Schönau (EWS) will be showing the exhibition "Images of the Future 2045 - A Journey into the World of Tomorrow" in the Freiburg Store. The exhibition shows how beautiful a sustainable society can be. It is based on the book of the same name by the non-profit and independent think-and-do tank "Reinventing Society" and creates positive visions of a desirable future. On display are impressive city scenarios in a before-and-after comparison that illustrate what urban space could look like if we succeed in achieving socio-ecological change. "A new world can emerge from the crisis, not from our minds, but from our dreams. Even if we don't know exactly what the future looks like, we should imagine it.
