Antonio Andrade Quartet - FUEGO
FLAMENCO This art and form of expression originated in Andalusia on the basis of folklore. It was constantly enriched by all the cultures that came into contact with Andalusia: Arabic, Jewish, Christian and the culture of the Andalusian gypsies. More recent influences after the discovery of the Americas include music from South America and even jazz. The unique mixture and symbiosis have made flamenco one of the most interesting musical styles in world music and music history.
VIDA (life): Flamenco is alive. In 2010, flamenco was declared an intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO and can claim to be a living music that is constantly evolving. Flamenco is the mirror of life: it contains all wishes and dreams, all truths and lies, light and darkness. Like life itself.
