Anna Düsenberg - Lullaby for Nael
A Poetic Adventure About Life
Based on the book of the same name by Anna Düsenberg, this play tells the story of Nael, who sets out to find his place in the world. His journey takes him through the four seasons, which symbolize the different stages of life. These four seasons appear as four different small stages hidden inside a skirt, which gradually unfold as the story progresses. This creates a multi-layered perspective on growth, change, challenges, and the small wonders of existence.
With handmade puppets, poetic imagery, lively scenes, humorous moments, and quieter passages, the play invites children and adults alike to embark on this journey of life. The narrative spans an entire lifetime and concludes with a poetic, open ending.
