Direct, raw and uncompromisingly honest - that's how Anda Morts present themselves live. What the parade punk from Linz, Austria, and his comrades-in-arms Emil Stöllinger (guitar, vocals) and Florian "Koi" Koll (drums) release from the stage is no fiber flatterer NDW or smoothly ironed German punk, but a highly energetic experience: a power trio, always brushed on demolition, which is able to carry its audience away from the first to the last second.
With his flair for storytelling, Anda Morts' lyrics strike right to the heart - somewhere between anger, melancholy and hope. Authentic, approachable and always full steam ahead. Thematically, it is about self-positioning, longing, identity and the eternal question: What is all this actually about and where do I belong? Anda Morts observes closely, dissecting scenes, relationships, society and politics with a few precise lines. And in doing so, he achieves something rare: to tell stories from the small to the large, without pathos, but with palpable tenderness for his characters. It is no coincidence that Anda Morts' debut album "Ans" from September 2025 was celebrated by critics.
After the completely sold-out "Zweimal ist einmal" tour in April, numerous summer fresh air excursions to major festivals such as Hurricane, Southside or Ruhrpott Rodeo will follow before the band returns to the club stages in the fall with their 2nd studio album (produced by Sven Regener), which is planned for November - ready for the next stage of escalation.
On the "I hate this part of Texas" tour in 2026, Anda Morts will once again plow through Germany and, for the first time, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. Distorted chords, mangy bass, driving drums, gruff vocals - uncompromising punk. At the same time, influences from NDW, post-punk and even singer/songwriter moments flash through. In this urgency, in this mixture, it all sounds very new. You can see them live from mid-September at no less than 18 tour stops.
