Alarm signal - Live 2026

Shortly after the turn of the millennium, a few friends decide to form the band ALARMSIGNAL to escape the dreariness of everyday life in the small town of Celle. The first songs are quickly written. The clubs they play in get bigger with every album and soon they are also welcome guests at major festivals. Insomnia" is now their ninth studio album.
The title of the album aptly describes the sleepless nights that many of us are having in these troubled times. Singer and bassist Steff explains:


"On a political and social level, many things are robbing us of sleep: the stupidity, the ignorance, the selfishness, the hatred and the backward-looking nature of humanity. It is 2025 and instead of learning from the past, Europe is moving further and further to the right. Far-right language and hate speech are becoming more and more acceptable, among politicians, in society, everywhere. Social networks are full of racism, anti-Semitism, fake news and horrific sexism or homophobia."

- Many of the songs on the new album are attempts to understand the increasingly complex world or to express a lack of understanding, to process both external events and internal contradictions and thoughts, as well as to bring a little order to the chaos that surrounds us all day after day. Everything is changing and the band is also changing: Chris (KOTZREIZ, JENNIFER ROSTOCK, BERLIN BLACKOUTS) is not only a feature guest on one song, but after a line-up change he is now a permanent member of the band on drums - the album marks the start of a new chapter for ALARMSIGNAL in every respect. In addition to consistently positive reviews, the band entered the official German album charts at a sensational 15th place, seamlessly following on from the success of the previous album "Ästhetik des Widerstands" (20th place).

ALARMSIGNAL's live performances also confirm their status as one of the best-known and busiest German punk bands - they have now played over 600 concerts and recently sold out shows at the legendary SO36 in Berlin and Conne Island in Leipzig. Wherever ALARMSIGNAL appear, a euphoric atmosphere is guaranteed - we are looking forward to the upcoming tour and sweaty mosh pits at festivals in every corner of Germany!
