20 Years of Brasilikum Freiburg! Big Anniversary Latin Samba Summer Party! 

We’re thrilled to announce our anniversary party at Eschholz park! On the agenda: food, drinks (including caipirinhas, of course), face painting for kids, lots of hot rhythms, dancing, and a great atmosphere! Samba, sunshine, and summer in full swing! It all kicks off on Friday evening: Starting at 6 p.m., we’ll be parading through the city as a walking act with our drums, spreading Brazilian joy. Join us and get in the groove for Saturday’s party! We’ll start at the monument on Europaplatz. Starting at 8:30 p.m., the fun continues at Eschholz park with a dance workshop led by Gregorio for everyone. Learn some cool moves, dance freely, grab a drink, and get in the mood for Saturday with us! On Saturday, we’ll kick things off again with Brasilikum as a walking act through the Old Town. We’ll meet at 2:30 p.m. at the old synagogue square and march together in high samba spirits down Sedanstraße and across the blue bridge into Eschholz park. Come join us and dance and groove to our drum rhythms! The action continues at 3:00 p.m. in Eschholz park with a packed program: The Maracatu group “Stern der Elbe” from Hamburg will be performing—with drums, dance, and amazing costumes. The “Som do Brasil” choir will be singing. “Los Guachos” will be performing—plugged cumbia, Latin, and ska —and of course, we’ll be performing: Brasilikum! Come celebrate with us!
