2nd Department Store Serenade - Sanssouci Trio

On Sunday, September 21 at 5 p.m., the Camerata Instrumentale continues this year's season of department store serenades in the Kaminsaal of the historical merchants' hall on Münsterplatz. The Sanssouci Trio Freiburg will be performing with Frank Michael, Ming Wang and Jens Josef (flutes). The program includes trios by Georg Philipp Telemann, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (4 Kanzonetten), Alexander Tscherepnin (op. 59) and the extraordinary Regentropfenprélude op. 74 No. 2 by Frank Michael, scored for alto flute in G, bass flute and sub-bass flute in G. The crowning finale is the "Grand Trio" op. 118 in F major by the romantic flute composer Anton Bernhard Fürstenau. The varied program is rounded off with the "Zwergenmusick" for two flutes by Jens Josef and two solos from the "Wendekreis des Einhorns" cycle by Frank Michael.
