What is the state of biodiversity in Germany and BW? (Online lecture)

Online lecture series on the topic of "Biodiversity in our lives" as part of the special program to strengthen biodiversity in Baden-Württemberg. At the latest with the publication of the "Krefeld Study" on the decline in insects in autumn 2017, it has become clear that the global extinction of species is not only taking place in distant countries, but also here in Central Europe. The lecture will present data on the loss of biodiversity in Germany, the importance of biodiversity for society and the main drivers. The lecture will also name countermeasures that have been taken, in particular as part of the "Special Program to Strengthen Biodiversity" in Baden-Württemberg. - Registration required.
