Webtalk: Baden settlers in Alsace during the Second World War

The Documentation Center for National Socialism invites you to a webtalk in the winter semester. Between 1942 and 1945, numerous families from Baden moved to Alsace to work on abandoned farms. The history club led by teacher Claudius Heitz and pupils at the St. Sebastian College in Stegen have been studying this little-known topic over the past two years. The young people researched both Baden and Alsace and published a book on the subject. The lecture will present the results of their work and discuss their significance for Alsatian-Baden history.
