Waving the Guns (WTG) come from Rostock and make rap.
Instead of a sudden, huge hype, their popularity has grown steadily and healthily over the last few years without artificially forcing anything.
WTG is about articulating antitheses to the nonsense that is becoming the norm, about exaggeration and understatement, about ranting and reflection and about interweaving shit-talking with attitude. Expression of opinion and debate are important components, but so are entertainment and simply having fun with music.
Above all, however, it was always about playing concerts. Through constant touring wherever there are stages and feedback, WTG know how to entertain a crowd and perform songs full of energy.
Under the motto "It could have been such a nice evening", this is exactly what they do. High fives are given to the audience, who are in a bad mood due to their limited viewpoints, but with no guarantee that they won't get one after all. All those who like to step down and make themselves comfortable in the warm lap of simplicity will, at best, have their mood spoiled.
What is certain is that parties will be celebrated, despite the shit. They have big plans in small halls. They're finally back on tour!
