Voice Event - Annual concert at the Jazzhaus

"Voice Event" is a youth choir from Freiburg made up of around 35 singers from more than 15 different schools in the region. The choir was founded in 1998 by Christian Geugelin and has been institutionally sponsored by the city of Freiburg since 2019. Since its foundation, the choir can look back on a successful history, with many prizes at choir competitions, concert tours at home and abroad and visits to festivals. Under the direction of Sebastian Oberlin, the choir presents a varied a cappella program and can also be heard and seen on well-known streaming platforms such as Spotify, YouTube and others. The enthusiasm for singing and the diversity of the young singers' voices make "Voice Event" a very special choir that never fails to delight its audience.
