It all begins in 1941 with the Japanese attack on US warships in Pearl Harbor. The dentist Lytle S. Adams seeks revenge and develops a crazy plan: he wants to use bats as living bombs in the war against Japan. Bats as bombs? What sounds strange at first is actually quite simple and goes like this: Bombs are attached to sleeping bats and dropped over enemy cities. The animals nest under the roofs, the bombs explode and chaos ensues. Even President Roosevelt is persuaded by the idea: he provides Doc Adams with a team and a secret military site.
