Schauinslandbahn children's day

On June 5, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Schauinslandbahn invites you to the big children's day around the Schauinsland mountain station. Children can look forward to free games with a visit from our mascots Gondolin and Babu, the play mobile with a rope workshop, face painting and a painting corner. There will also be refreshments with an ice cream and wine stand.

There is also a free puzzle tour ("Gondolin's children's quiz") with a small surprise and family tours of the museum mine (duration 45 minutes, for a fee).

The event takes place in all weathers; the regular rates apply for the cable car ride.
