Running for the rainforest

The entry fees and donations go entirely to a Bruno Manser Fund reforestation project. This supports the indigenous Penan community in Borneo in establishing tree nurseries and reforesting deforested areas. By taking part, you are actively contributing to climate protection and supporting the rights of indigenous peoples.

Trails for everyone

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced runner - there are suitable distances for everyone:
Long distance: 7.8 km
Medium distance: 5.2 km
Short distance: 2.6 km
Children's run: 1 km

The running route leads through the Wiehre district and along the Sternwald forest, starting and finishing at the old Wiehre railway station.

In addition to the sporting part, you can expect a colorful supporting program with live music, a sustainability market and information stands on environmental and climate protection. Food and drink will also be provided - a festival for the whole family!
