Internships, Trainee Programs, etc.: Opportunities for Students in the U.S.

Are you a student interested in gaining professional experience in the U.S.? Are you planning to study in the U.S.?

Then join our online information session and learn all about internships, trainee programs, and other opportunities for students in the United States.

An internship abroad offers the chance to gain international professional experience, improve your language skills, and discover new perspectives. At the same time, planning a stay abroad requires early preparation and dealing with various challenges.

But it doesn’t always have to be an internship—there are also other ways to experience the U.S. as a student.

Our Study and Exchange Advisory Service provides an overview of the most important steps toward securing an internship or trainee program in the U.S. and offers information on finding suitable opportunities, visa requirements, and other hurdles in the planning process.
Former students will also share their personal experiences, offer practical tips, and provide insights into their time abroad and daily work life in the U.S.

In this event, you’ll learn:
• How to find an internship or trainee program in the U.S.
• What steps are important during preparation
• What you should know about visas, applications, and organization
• What alternatives are available, such as Work & Travel or programs in the national parks
• Valuable tips and testimonials from alumni
• Answers to your specific questions during the open Q&A session

Whether you’re already planning a stay in the U.S. or just want to learn about your options—this event offers a concise overview of ways to gain international experience while you’re in college.
