In the competition for an enthusiastic audience, selected artists compete against each other with short, self-written texts: with just seven minutes, no costumes or props, only the spoken word counts.
Perhaps it is this honesty that makes it so appealing - or the diversity of the performances. Because whether rhymed or narrated, touching or effervescent, for the heart, brain or diaphragm: everything is possible and much is on offer in this literary decathlon.

Poetry slam master and presenter Marius Loy invites slammers from the region and far beyond to the Vorderhaus in Freiburg: some of the most exciting artists in their guild will be passing the microphone to each other here.
