Ecumenical service on Münsterplatz

Under the motto "Heaven on Earth", faith will be celebrated together on Freiburg's Münsterplatz on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at 12 noon - Christians, as well as the curious, skeptical and enthusiastic, are cordially invited!

For the third time, the Catholic and Protestant city churches and the Freiburg House of Prayer are inviting people to a large Münsterplatz service. Around 1,500 seats are available on the south side of the cathedral, in front of the large Münsterplatzkonzerte stage.A classic service with songs, prayer, silence and a biblical impulse - and yet very special: as a communal experience in the open air, with the young band from the House of Prayer and the ecumenical team on stage and professional event technology. Relaxed and open, concentrated and intimate, with a heavenly spirit and a heart for the world.

Please bring an umbrella (good in rain or sun), something to drink, friends and acquaintances. We look forward to seeing you!
