Dance guest performance: Non + Ultras

Hundreds of fan scarves hang on the stage: they bear the names of soccer clubs, but also slogans and political slogans. slogans and political slogans. The dance piece Non + Ultras deals with the connection between fan culture and political protest. Munich choreographer Moritz Ostruschnjak follows the logic of social media: a whirlwind of images, videos, music and movement swirls across the stage, fast, loud and colorful. Eight dancers in jeans and sports shirts present a dance full of energy. Together they celebrate a festival of movement from urban dance and contemporary dance. Non + Ultras follows the power of fast images and shows a world full of stark contrasts. A world in which stars are celebrated just as much as simple answers. A world in which soccer fans and revolutionaries walk hand in hand. Perhaps there is hope after all?
