Song recital - silence is golden

Seriousness and humor in one program can be found throughout cultural history: even in ancient times, humorous interludes followed tragedies and Shakespeare's dramas are interspersed with comic scenes. Under the motto "Silence is golden", this interplay will be heard at our second evening on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 8.15 pm. Kilian Herold, a professor of clarinet who teaches in Freiburg, has invited two musician friends, soprano Sarah Maria Sun and pianist Jan Philip Schulze. Together they will perform works by Schubert, Britten, Bernstein, Ligeti, Asperghis and others.
