On this day, Theater Freiburg is firmly in the hands of children! Program and offers for children and families, wherever the ear listens: As in previous years, the Kleine Haus belongs to school classes and their klong labs. For a week, schoolchildren tinkered, cloned and rehearsed musically before proudly presenting their results on the final day. The music school, in collaboration with the SWR Experimentalstudio and a klong lab, will open the grand finale day at the Großes Haus in the spirit of sustainability: Re-Cycle! is the name of the composition, in which not only materials are reused, but sounds are also converted into loops. And further on in the program: a school class from the Stegen Education and Counselling Centre (with a focus on hearing) has made a silent film in which a gorilla thwarts a jewel theft. The film is accompanied and framed by the amateur orchestra CON ANIMA. Children's pop musician Lars Feuerstein not only sings "So'n Quatsch", but also about little monsters. And finally, children's choirs invite you to sing about summer together. On the backstage, dance teacher Stefanie Alf from Theater Freiburg leads participatory dances, while instruments can be invented and built in the painting room. There is a listening oasis with memory for the ears, cakes for foodies, instruments to try out and the old synagogue square will also be brought to life by youth big bands.
