Church square Herdern
The Herdermer church square is a great place to linger in the shade of lime and chestnut trees. On Tuesdays and Fridays, people meet here in the afternoon at the farmers' market and once a year at the legendary Herdermer Hock.
Kirchplatz Herdern is the heart of the charming district of Herdern in Freiburg, named after the 18th century St. Urban church. The square is not only a place of peace and contemplation, but also a lively meeting place for locals and visitors. Events and the weekly Herdern market take place here regularly.
