"Happy Trails" - hikes in English: St. Valentin loop
This easy hike is for English speakers and anyone who would like to
practice their English in a relaxed setting. We'll explore the woods
around Günterstal and enjoy casual conversation along the way.
Walking time: approx. 2.5 hours (4 km), including a lunch break;
elevation gain 144 m, easy
Meeting point: 10:30 AM at Freiburg Tourist Information Center,
Old Town Hall, Rathausplatz. We'll take the streetcar to Wonnhalde - a
streetcar ticket is required.
Please wear sturdy shoes, dress appropriately for the weather, and
bring your own snacks and water. We'll stop for lunch midway at
Waldrestaurant St. Valentin, where food and drinks are available for
purchase.
