In this weekend course, you will learn the optical and technical basics of digital photography as well as how to use your own camera properly. In addition to determining optimized camera settings, you will learn subject and theme-related techniques and implement them in practical applications. The topics in detail: - Structure and function of digital SLR and system cameras - Lenses and focal lengths and their use - Correct exposure: Exposure and shutter speeds, ISO - Depth of field: the aperture as a creative tool - Basics of portrait and landscape photography - Optimal use of aperture priority and aperture priority - Avoiding typical mistakes in photography - Useful photographic accessories - Basics of image composition and composition theory This course is aimed at beginners who want to develop their photographic skills beyond the automatic settings of their camera and influence the quality of their shots.
