Drew Portnoy - German by mistake

American Drew Portnoy innocently chose German as a foreign language in middle school because no one else was interested in the language. Little did he know at the time how much this would shape his life. At the end of the 90s, he swapped the Rocky Mountains of his native Colorado for Berlin's nightlife and still doubts whether this decision was the right one. His dry humor is aimed at his favorite topics: Germany, his family and himself.

He can often be seen on successful comedy formats throughout Germany such as NightWash and Komische Nacht. He is also a regular presenter at Comedyflash and the Downstairs Comedy Club in Berlin and at Schnack Standup in Hamburg.

He has won the Comedy Central Roast Battle three times.
