Pottery on the wheel for beginners and advanced potters

Two days to switch off from the stress of everyday life and get creative? Design your own coffee cups and breakfast plates? Our monthly weekend pottery courses are designed to make it easier to start working on the potter's wheel. With individual supervision, we teach the basic techniques required to produce simple vessels on the potter's wheel, right through to the finished glazed piece. No previous knowledge is required. At the end of the course, everyone will be able to hold their first self-made cereal bowls, coffee cups and perhaps much more in their hands. With this acquired knowledge, you can continue your successes in the open workshop.

Centering, breaking open, setting the base and raising a vessel
Turning and handling a vessel
Clay preparation
Painting and glazing (in the open workshop, at no extra cost)

This course is offered as a weekend course or alternatively as a continuous course with 5 dates.
