The Kaiserstuhl in spring (excursion)

The route leads from Vogtsburg over the hills of the Badberg through three of the Kaiserstuhl's most famous nature reserves. The first flowers are already blooming on the open slopes, while the ground in the beech forests is covered in a carpet of anemones, wild garlic and larkspur. Butterflies are out and about, crickets chirp and green lizards rustle in the bushes. A diverse concert of birds can be heard throughout the excursion. The treasures of the animal and plant world that can be found in the climatically favorable Kaiserstuhl during spring are shown. - Please bring: good shoes, clothing suitable for the weather and binoculars if possible. Length approx. 8.5 km, 100 vertical meters, but some very steep climbs. Registration required.
