STADTARCHIV: Episode 4 | Talk

Why should a person be allowed to talk about themselves on stage? We often give people this opportunity because they have achieved something that gets a lot of attention. But doesn't everyone have something to say, simply because they are human and have a life? That's what counts in the end. Often the best stories come to light when you first simply ask: Who are you?

That's why the Stadtarchiv - Menschen in Freiburg is a series of live talks that creates space for precisely those stories that otherwise don't make it to the stage. Here, people from Freiburg talk about themselves, their lives and the stories they write.

Each conversation creates a growing archive of stories from very different people: a city archive of the people of Freiburg that makes visible how diverse this city is and how many stories it contains.
