Yokohama-born Sachiko Furuhata made her debut at Carnegie Hall New York in November 2017 and received standing ovations. Since then, she has performed in various major concert halls such as the San Francisco Herbst Theatre, Edinburgh's Usher Hall, Leipzig's Gewandhaus, the Berlin Philharmonie and Hamburg's Elbphilharmonie. She has performed as a soloist with various orchestras such as the Russian State Philharmonic, the German Radio Philharmonic and others.
