Bubbles Fondue
A seasonal fondue experience in heated bubbles at the Jesuit Castle in Merzhausen, with a view of Freiburg and the surrounding countryside.
Bubbles Fondue combines a wintery fondue evening with an extraordinary panoramic view overlooking Freiburg. On the terrace of the Jesuit Castle in Merzhausen, there are heated, transparent “bubbles” where guests can enjoy their fondue in a cozy, sheltered setting. From here, the view stretches over the rooftops of Freiburg to the cathedral and the Black Forest.
Guests can choose between meat fondue, cheese fondue, or a combination of both. The experience is complemented by matching side dishes and a dessert. The “Bubbles” are prepared exclusively for each reservation and offer a special setting for evenings spent with friends, family, or colleagues.
The event is designed as a seasonal winter project and takes place in November and December. The location on the Schönberg slope above Merzhausen combines proximity to the city of Freiburg with a peaceful setting and impressive views as darkness falls. Free parking is available directly at the Jesuitenschloss.
