Thanks to the overall ecological concept, it is certainly fit for the future: the highly insulated façade and climate-neutral cooling with well water mean that the university library, which was completed in 2015, consumes 65 percent less energy than its predecessor. With a 2,000 square meter photovoltaic system, it supplies itself with electricity.
