Different - So Shortly Before

Who doesn't know them? Those moments when your pulse goes up to your head and your heart races. Dare to have your first kiss? Jump off the 10-meter board? Give your boss a piece of your mind? Speak uncomfortable truths? In short: moments when it's all about the big picture. With their new program "So kurz davor", the five singers go all out and sing about life in all its facets in their own poetic way: Humorous, melancholic, philosophically questioning and self-confident. Anders present a brilliant a cappella show with an unmistakable pop sound, authentic songs and a closeness to the audience that is second to none. The program title "So kurz davor" ("So close to it") is logically less a self-description than a promise. With "So kurz davor", the Freiburg formation shows once again that it can already compete with the greats of the scene.

They are Germany's a cappella German poets. Their style: catchy melodies and intelligent lyrics. Anders write smart pop songs in German that take the a cappella form of performance seriously and are more than just instrumental cover songs
of current chart hits or nostalgic songs about the flora on the balcony. They not only delight their audiences at their own concerts, but have also opened for bands such as Revolverheld and Thees Uhlmann.
ANDERS are winners of the St Ingberter Pfanne 2020 (Audience Award & Special Prize of the Minister of Culture), the Vokal.total-Fstival Graz 2019 (1st prize in the POP category) and the SoLaLa ACappella Festival Solingen 2019 (Jury Prize & Audience Award). In 2019, ANDERS won the CARA Award for Best European A Cappella Album in the USA for their album "Viel Lärm um dich". They also won 1st prize at the Aarhus Vocal Festival 2024 and were awarded the sponsorship prize of the Kleinkunstpreis Baden-Württemberg 2024.
