Mösle Park und lake "Waldsee"
Möslepark was created in the second half of the 19th century, making it one the city's older parks aside from Schlossberg.

The name "Mösle" (small moss forest) comes from its abundance of water, with the city's oldest spring tapping located below the surface of the park landscape. One of the first things you notice on a walk through the park is the dense population of old trees. These are mainly common oaks and hornbeams, interspersed with areas of rhododendron and azalea bushes.
Opposite the Möslepark, the green space around the Waldsee lake attracts many visitors, particularly in the summer months, thanks to its waterfront terrace restaurant and shaded location on the edge of the forest. www.waldsee-freiburg.de
