52nd ANNUAL MEETING OF ARBEITSGEMEINSCHAFT DERMATOLOGISCHE FORSCHUNG

We are excited to welcome you to the 52nd Annual Meeting of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Dermatologische Forschung (ADF), taking place from March 5–7, 2026, in Freiburg.

This year, we once again expect numerous exciting abstracts, from which the reviewers will recommend a selection for oral presentations. In addition, three Quo Vadis Lectures will address up-to-date topics and highlight novel avenues for future research.

As in previous years, several awards will recognize outstanding scientists. The recipients of the two main ADF Awards, the Egon Macher Award and the Paul Langerhans Award, will present their work. In addition, the ADF/ECARF Award, prizes in Dermato-Oncology and Translational Research, as well as one prize dedicated specifically to Atopic Dermatitis research, will be awarded this year.

We are also delighted to announce that, for the first time, the ADF will present a Hidradenitis Suppurativa/Acne Inversa Research Award in cooperation with the HS/AI Network. We are grateful to all foundations and supporters who make it possible for the ADF to award these prizes.

Posters should be displayed throughout the entire meeting to allow for vivid discussions. All oral presentations will also be exhibited as posters to facilitate informal interactions. Poster sessions will include guided poster walks, focusing discussion on specific themes. The best posters, nominated by the poster committee, will be recognized with a Poster Award at the closing session. We strongly encourage all presenters to remain until the end of the meeting in order to personally receive their award.
