As a Green City, we of course pay attention to good air quality in our city. Vehicles with green emissions stickers are thus permitted to participate in traffic in the Freiburg environmental zone.
For everyone else, Park & Ride lots with tram connections are directly adjacent to the environmental zone. This way you can quickly and easily reach the city center of Freiburg. During rush hour the tram passes here every 6-10 minutes (depending on the line).
If you do not yet have an emissions sticker but your vehicle meets the necessary prerequisites, you can purchase it at the citizen service office for €5. Before the start of a trip, visitors from abroad may apply for this "green driving license" here.
