Live like royalty at the foot of the Black Forest! Welcome to Colombi Hotel, one of the few remaining luxury-class city hotels that is still run personally by the owners themselves. Although a hotel cannot replace your home, we see to it that your individual needs are met and you feel at home with us. Located on the outskirts of the picturesque Old Town of Freiburg, the Colombi is an ideal starting point for a stroll or a trip to the Black Forest, the Kaiserstuhl, Markgräflerland or the nearby Alsace region. Parking at the hotel is also available for a fee (28 EUR / night / room).

Check-in and check-out regulation

Reserved rooms are available to customers starting at 3 pm on the agreed day of arrival. The customer is not entitled to an earlier check-in. Unless a later arrival time has been expressly agreed upon or the room concerned has been paid in advance, the hotel reserves the right to re-let the room after 3 pm. The right to re-let does not rule out a default / cancellation cost charge, providing the room could not be otherwise sold. The latest check-out time for hotel rooms is 12 pm on the agreed day of departure. In the event of a delayed check-out, the hotel charges 50% of the full accommodation price before 6 pm and 80% after 6 pm. Contractual claims of the customer are not justified in this case. Please contact the owner in a timely manner prior to arrival to discuss the time of arrival.

Directions

FROM THE MOTORWAY A5: Exit Freiburg-Mitte. Continue along towards the Freiburg City Centre on B31. Exit to the right towards Innenstadt-Hauptbahnhof-Konzerthaus and turn right at the first traffic light onto Schnewlinstraße towards Hauptbahnhof-Konzerthaus. Follow the road approx. 800 m. At the fourth traffic light, turn right onto Eisenbahnstraße (Volksbank building, across from the main train station). Exit and follow the road for 300 m. At the end of the road, turn left onto Rotteckring (going towards the Rathaus). The Colombi hotel is located on the right side. COMING FROM THE BLACK FOREST: Exit at Hauptbahnhof-Merzhausen-Kongress. At the first traffic light, turn right going towards Hauptbahnhof-Konzerthaus. Follow the road approx. 600 m. At the fourth traffic light, turn right onto Eisenbahnstraße (Volksbank building, across from the central station) and follow the road for 300 m. At the end of the road, turn left onto Rotteckring (going towards the Rathaus). The Colombi hotel is located on the right side.

Important payment information and other conditions

No-show / cancellation fees apply for room reservations. Exceptions to this rule are trade fairs and special events. Individual reservations: (cancellation before arrival date of overnight stay with breakfast / half-board / full-board) · Up to 21 days in advance: No charge · 14 to 21 days in advance: 40% · 7 to 14 days in advance: 60% · Within 7 days before arrival: 80%. Group reservations: (5 rooms or more) (cancellation before arrival date of overnight stay with breakfast / half-board / full-board) · Up to 42 days in advance: No charge · 21 to 41 days in advance: 50% · 14 to 21 days in advance: 60% · Within 14 days before arrival: 80%. The following cancellation conditions apply for individual and group reservations for trade fairs and special events: (cancellation before arrival date of overnight stay with breakfast / half-board / full-board) · Up to 42 days in advance: No charge · 21 to 42 days in advance: 50% · Within 21 days before arrival: 80%. The % figures are calculated according to the agreed prices as outlined in Section I. If the room can be resold, the costs are reduced according to Section 3 of these conditions. The customer/contractual partner owes the costs stated in the terms and conditions. Cancellations of contracts are only legally effective when confirmed by the hotel in writing. This does not affect the calculation of no-show / cancellation fees.
