Description

This non-smoking apartment is conveniently located near the “Freiburg-Nord” exit in the basement of a semi-detached house on the outskirts of Freiburg. Within walking distance you will find a bakery and café where you can enjoy a nice breakfast (even on Sundays) or get a quick snack. A deli, several restaurants, and various stores are also nearby, as are an indoor pool and tennis hall. A magnificent panoramic view of the nearby excursion destinations Black Forest, Kaiserstuhl, and Vosges is just a short walk away. The lovely scenic landscape near the apartment is perfect for long walks, Nordic walking or a relaxing bike ride. A bus stop for line 36 is also nearby, allowing our guests to explore Freiburg without the need for a car. The nearby Breisgau s-bahn station gets you to Freiburg Main Station in just a few minutes. The “Neuen Messe” trade fair grounds are also only a few minutes away. Distances: approx. 100 m to a stop for bus no. 36, approx. 1.2 km to the s-bahn in March-Hugstetten with a park-and-ride and bike-and-ride parking lot, 2 km to the A5 exit “FR-Nord”, approx. 12 km to Freiburg Main Station, approx. 7 km to Neuen Messe, approx. 11 km to the University Hospital, approx. 12 km to the Freiburg Old Town, approx. 30 km to Europapark Rust, approx. 76 km to Euro-Airport, 70 km to Basel, approx. 33 km to Alsace. Free pick-up and drop-off service from/to the Hugstetten train station by prior arrangement.

Check-in and check-out regulation

Please contact your host in advance to inform him about your approximated time of arrival, especially in case guests will arrive after 6 pm.
The earliest check-in time is 3 pm; the latest check-in time must be discussed in advance. Latest check-out time is 11 am. The key is to be turned in and the apartment cleanly swept on the day of departure. Any trash is to be disposed of in the appropriate containers outside the house.

Directions

By car from the north: A5 Karlsruhe-Basel, exit “Freiburg Nord”, Hieberainle road starts at the Hochdorf town entrance. The house is located on the right-hand side. By car from the south or east: Take B31a towards Umkirch until you reach the exit “March”, then turn right towards Hugstetten. Turn right towards Freiburg at the end of the road. After about 200 m, turn left towards Hochdorf. At the first junction, turn left onto Hieberainle road. House no. 23 is located on the left. Arrival by public transport: From Freiburg Main Station, (1.) take tram line 1 towards Landwasser. At the final stop (Moosweiher), switch over to bus line 36 towards Hochdorf and get off at the stop “Zum Roten Stein”. (2.) Take the Breisgau s-bahn to Hugstetten station and use our complemtary pick-up service (must be arranged prior to arrival).

Differing cancellation conditions

The guest can cancel the booking in writing. The host will dry to find a replacement guest for cancelled bookings. If the host is successful or the guest finds someone to take their place, then original guest will get their deposit back. Cancellations will be billed at a flat rate (§ 651 I par. 3 BGB) as follows: Up to 60 days prior to arrival, 20% of the confirmed price. From the 59th day prior to arrival, 50% of the confirmed price. From the 35th day prior to arrival, 80% of the confirmed price. 100% of the confirmed price will be due for cancellations received later than 35 days prior to arrival if a replacement cannot be found for the same price.

Tourist tax information

The hosts would like to point out to their guests that they are obliged by the City of Freiburg to charge the local accommodation tax of 5 percent on the overnight price to the guests. This tax is not included in the accommodation price and will be charged separately on site.
 

Important payment information and other conditions

The amount due is to be paid in full and in cash when picking up the keys on the day of arrival. Use of the sauna will be charged separately: Flat rate for 2-3 hours = 20 EUR. Use of the washing machine and dryer for a fee: Washer = 4 EUR / Dryer = 3 EUR. The hotel reserves the right to require a deposit and will contact you directly in such cases.
