United World College
Peter Kulka Architektur and Hotz + Architekten, 2014
Germany's first United World College was built on the site of a former Carthusian monastery. The classrooms are located in the monastery building, whose main elements date from the 18th century. The new canteen was built in the listed monastery gardens. Accommodation for students and teaching staff is located on the hill, in the form of a relaxed village community with residential cubes of different sizes. A reference to the long-gone Carthusian heritage.
